Durga Puja in Jharkhand, India. (#PANDAL HOPPING)

Durga Puja is celebrated every year to mark victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura , which symbolizes that good wins over bad.

Pandal means a temporary shed used for religious gatherings.

It is a week-long celebration in India and one of our favorite activities during this week is Pandal Hopping. Huge Pandals are built across various cities in India, specially for this week , where people can come with their family and friends to take blessings from the goddess . Kolkata being top on the list where you can see the most outstanding pandals.

Here I will share with you the photo diary of Pandals in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) in 2018.
